The Panthéon, located atop the Sainte-Geneviève hill in Paris’s Latin Quarter, is an iconic monument dedicated to honoring the great figures of the French nation.
Built in the 18th century, its impressive neoclassical architecture is inspired by ancient temples, featuring a massive dome that overlooks the city. Inside, visitors can admire large historical murals and explore the crypt, where notable individuals such as Voltaire, Rousseau, Victor Hugo, Marie Curie, and Aimé Césaire are laid to rest.
